Bread Blanket

I'm so excited to have completed another Christmas present- my bread blanket. This particular one is knit with Peaches and Cream Cotton yarn in a sunshine yellow. Here is the basic pattern:

Cast on 5 stitches.
1- K1, yo, knit to end
Continue row one until piece measures between 18" and 24".
2- K2tog, yo, K2tog, knit to end
Continue row two until only five stitches are left.
3- Knit across
Cast off.

Knit i-cords onto each of the corners that measure about 6" long.

Place in a basket and fill with yummy homemade breads and biscuits.
